Always been a huge fan of this band, but this album cranks up the genre blend to 11. For an Anaal Nathrakh album it's very melodic, groovy and catchy, while still definitely being an Anaal Nathrakh album (very loud, extreme, chaotic), and I'm all for it! And as asual the lyrics are some of the best in modern metal. It's been 3 years now so I'm ready for a new Anaal Nathrakh album!

Bellum omnium contra omnes disait autrefois Anaal Nathrakh : A New Kind of Horror nous plonge dans une guerre plus horrible encore (la pochette envoie déjà tellement du lourd, un plaisir pour les yeux). L'album est beaucoup rentre-dedans et cadencé que The Whole of the Law : ça mitraille sévère ("Forward!", chants militaires sur "Are We fit for Glory Yet?") jusqu'à un apocalypse qui pousse les autres dans une fuite éperdue et désespérée ("New Bethlehem"). Le concept de l'album est juste génial !
